Scatter Brained

Didn't get out of bed until noon which was pretty good. I went to go get some breakfasty products but I guess supermarkets and banks etc aren't open on Sunday.

I got this chocolate filled croissant thing that was delicious and some apple thing because I ordered, "shoco-croissant and whatever is good." Shoco probably wasn't the word. I avoid saying the names of things.

If I knew how their alphabet worked I would but they have like crazy looking letters mixed in with normal ones. I was ordering a wurst-croissant which is like a large pig-in-blanket and when I said it the guy was like ?? But I was ready for that and had written the name down like a deaf mute.

For lunch I ordered whatever the guy ahead of me got because it looked pretty good.

But anyways, Munich tomorrow and it's a 6 hour train ride which blows. After talking with a friend I got out a map and thought of my route after Munich.

The crazy eastern European countries you never hear of have no hispeed trains. So travel times of 12 hours where it'd be 4 in France. Not so sure I want to get too deep into that.

I went to the Reichstag and people wait in line to go up to it's dome but line was long. Checked out Brandenburg Gate.

There was a group of kids break dancing that I couldn't stand to watch. They had a crowd of like 100 people purely because they were more interesting than a gate, but they were just not good entertainers. They were making more applause and cheers for themselves than crowd.

Now I could see this freaking needle tower thing I saw all yesterday and walked to that. No clue what it's about but it's a predominant part of the skyline.

Now I needed to find my way back to the hotel and I surely wasn't going to back track for an hour.

Walked in general direction til I found canal. Then with my sextant I used the tower like the north star and navigated back to the yellow corona vw bug.

Every country crosses the road differently, but I just keep my method of reckless. 50 people waiting for signal when there's no one coming and 1 Dan walking across.

Once you figure out how traffic works you can cross any amount of lanes in any amount of traffic.

Blah I feel like this was boring, it was kinda boring to write.

What I'm looking for are links to interesting things to read online. I brought a book with me but I finished it and left it in a train station with my email address and a note.

I lost a bottle of shampoo so I'm working with hotel brands. I was going to pack two because I did the same thing in china and I figured since I did it once already I wouldn't do it again. Wrong.

I also had a sharpie that I was vandalizing with that I lost. So I only got to write "globetraveling.com" in like 5-7 places.

I read you need to have a seat to get a drink at Oktoberfest which is weak. Tables get reserved like months in advance.

The backspace button gets stuck sometimes which is odd cause it's not a button but an on screen image, but if I don't notice it will rampage whole paragraphs away.

"From the forest itself comes the handle for the axe." My favourite quote right now. It's a scary idea eh?
