Does it bother anyone else that…
- There is a man who calls himself Mystery.
- He is taken seriously and rated as a top pickup artist.
- There are actually media outlets that rank pickup artists.
- He has started two businesses to teach his techniques.
- There exists some sort of pickup artist industry.
- He coins terms for his techniques that propagate through that industry.
- The word artist and industry have become looser than a wizard's sleeve.
- He gave his first college lecture at MIT.
- I learned most of this from a Wikipedia page.
