This is where I started my trip, but it quickly became apparent that Spain was not for me. Too many gypsies and vampires, of all things. Starting a race to cross the French border.
On Barcelona from Paris
I saw a vampire on the subway, prostitutes at noon, and little gypsy children everywhere.
Barcelona, why not?
Barcelona seemed like a nice next step from Madrid.
